Eventually, Apsara was installed in the customer's remodelled pond. Here it is, although the landscape work is unfinished.

The title came about because the form in the pond brought to our minds the idea of a dancing water nymph. The customer and his wife had just returned from a visit to Cambodia, where they witnessed traditional dancing. And so Apsara was born. The Sanskrit word Apsara is the name of a kind of water nymph.
